This policy describes what information we collect on heartsofgoldlc.com and how we use it.
Information you give us
When you submit the interest form on our Contact page, we collect what you type into it: which track you're interested in (service dog, puppy raising, volunteering, or partnering), your name, your email address, and your message. We use it to respond to you and for no other purpose. It is stored securely in our website's database and sent to our staff by email.
If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address and use it only to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
Information collected automatically
Google Analytics. Our pages use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, general region, how you found us. This uses cookies. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Donations
Donations made through our Donate pages are processed by Givebutter, a third-party donation platform. Givebutter's donation form and any goal-progress display are embedded on our page, but the transaction — including any payment card information — is handled entirely by Givebutter; our site never receives or stores it. Donation and payment information you provide to Givebutter is governed by Givebutter's own privacy policy.
What we don't do
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers that help run this website and our programs for us — Google (Firebase hosting and database, Analytics) and Givebutter (donation processing) — who process it on our behalf or directly, as described above.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep interest-form and newsletter submissions as long as we need them to respond and follow up. If you'd like something you sent us corrected or deleted, reach us through the Contact page and we'll take care of it.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
